Our Story
When we first came to Koh Yao Yai there was one hotel on the island and not even a 7-Eleven. It was so quiet and so green that we were captured straight away by its raw, untouched natural beauty.
That feeling is what we built Yao Bada Badoo around. We kept the resort small on purpose, so the island stays at the heart of your stay and our team has time for every guest.
Koh Yao Yai has no shopping streets and no bar strip. What it has is jungle roads, empty beaches, fishing villages and some very good local restaurants.

We can collect you from Phuket International Airport and drive you to Bang Rong Pier for the speedboat to Koh Yao Yai.

The last speedboat from Bang Rong Pier leaves at 17:00.
We can arrange a pickup from Krabi Airport to Thalane Pier. From there it’s about 25 minutes by speedboat to Koh Yao Yai.
